Caroline Browne, LCSW, enjoys working with clients willing to explore harmful behavioral patterns and recognize the importance of developing self-awareness to create change.

Kente is a handwoven West African cloth with a unique design, pattern, and vibrancy used to celebrate the importance of good communication, heritage, pride in culture, and history. Kente Therapy Space provides a safe place where patients’ insights and feelings matter, and everyone receives the care and respect they deserve.

The conditions Caroline treats include anxiety and depression, and she provides couples counseling, stress management, and family therapy. Kente Therapy Space approach is holistic, integrative, person-centered, and faith-based.

Caroline is a third-year Gestalt therapy clinical fellow and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) providing expert support to people with substance use disorder.

At Kente Therapy Space, Caroline offers emotional help to women with alopecia (hair loss). She is a support group facilitator for the Scarring Alopecia Foundation. She treats trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), specializing in assisting domestic violence survivors.

Caroline is affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and is listed in the Black Psychologists directory. She is a member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of the Women’s Enterprise Development Center, which has served Westchester County and the Hudson Valley in New York since 1997.
